Aisling Bea
Aisling was born on March 16 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. She has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known by her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comedian. Bea started her professional career in stand-up comedy in 2011 after playing small roles she played in Irish and British television dramas from 2009. In 2012, she was frequently being featured on sketch comedy programs as well as sitcoms. In 2012, following her was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured often in various panel programs. She's a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's a popular contestant of the show's spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the daughter of Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. In 2012, she became the only woman to receive the So You Think You Are Funny Award. Bea was presented with the award in memory of her father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. The father of Bea was Brian was a veterinarian who worked with horses who died by suicide at three-years-old. But, she did not learn the cause of death until 13 years later. As a way to honor her dad, she took the stage-name Bea and in 2017, she wrote an article on suicides that affected her family members for The Guardian. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were brought up in the same home as Helen Moloney, who was a school educator and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. The family was obsessed with racing and horses. Bea began her career as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However, she realized early on that racing wasn't for her.
